Biliana Voutchkova

Biliana Voutchkova是一位全職的小提琴家、創作型表演者。演奏音樂類型含括獨奏、室內樂，也不乏許多為她量身訂作的新音樂作品。成長於音樂世家，四歲學琴，九歲就首次公開與管弦樂團合作。十六歲時由日本唱片公司Crown Record Ltd.發行專輯。十九歲時，因獲得南加大Jasha Heifetz Violin Scholarship，受邀赴美研習，1995年轉往紐約，持續探索當代音樂的藝術。BilianaVoutchkova於南加大University of Southern California, Los Angeles取得藝術家文憑，New School取得社會研究學位，曼尼斯音樂院Mannes College of Music取得演奏碩士學位（獲全額獎學金）。古典小提琴演奏，師承Peter Arnaoudov, Abram Stern, Felix Galimir。

她長期個人的藝術語言，透過探索即時作曲與即興演奏結合，甚至與更多可能的形式融合，以擴展其聲音、技術、身理性。2009年 共同創立GRAPESHADE，致力於音樂和舞蹈即興。2016年於Alarma Punk Jazz Fest與 Iva Bittova共演。

曾擔任紐約Jupiter Symphony樂團首席、波士頓愛樂管弦樂團助理首席 (1998-2003)、BMOP/Boston Modern Orchestra Project助理首席 (2000-2008)。

擔任以下樂團的固定成員：New England String Ensemble (1999-2003) Radius Ensemble and Arts of Music Chamber Players (1999-2007) Firebird Ensemble (2001-2005) NotaRiostous (2006-) Neue Ensemble (2011-2016) Splitter Orchestra (2011-) Ensemble United Berlin (2015-)。

擔任以下各團客席演奏家：Solisten Ensemble Kaleidoskop (2009-), Sasha Waltz & Guests (2009-), MusikFabrik (2009-) Ensemble Modern (2010-) Insomnio (2011-) Laboratorium (2011-) Mozaik Ensembles (2011-)。

曾以獨奏家身份與Chamber Orchestra of Boston, MusicaNova, New England String Ensemble, Festival Orchestra Sofia, National Bulgarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra等樂團合作。曾於卡內基音樂廳、柏林愛樂廳、Radial System V in Berlin、東京Suntory Hall重要場館演出。

曾受邀英國Huddersfield現代音樂節、波蘭Mózg音樂節、德國Moving Music and Radar音樂節、奧地利Wien Modern、Klangwerkstatt、Experimental Intermedia等演出。發行獨奏專輯《Modus of Raw》，以及近期廣受好評的《Blurred Music》。

曾獲柏林參議院、INM Berlin，以及美國紐約Musikfonds and the Trust for Mutual Understanding所給予的創作補助。其它所獲補助如：PRS Foundation for New Music, Ministry of Culture Sofia, New England Foundation for the Arts, Prohelvetia, Profi – Lingua, Romaeuropa, Aaron Copland Fund for Music, Massachusetts Cultural Council, National Endowment for the Arts。目前居住於柏林，獻聲於各音樂節及系列演出活動。
