Some of the new breakthroughs in terms of creative process of 21st century are new science and technology, new media, and tools for imagination. We show off without constraints in every corner of the exhibition scene, our own take on the new media. How will audience approach and perceive these highly experimental avant-garde performances?

NCAA, in addition to bringing classical music, also intends to grow together with all the new creations. We have covered instrumental music, electronic music, sound art, free improvisation, mixed media and the interactive gadgets, recently we constantly explore the possibilities of improvisational music. Improvisational music comes from a kind of spontaneous playing, is unpredictable and cannot be copied, its energy and creativity occurred in a flash. All are equal on the improvisation stage, where a kind of delicate mutual cooperation/competition persists. This direct communication through music proves to be more raw and powerful than any language. Perhaps, for majority music fans in Taiwan, this is a strange form of creative art and listening experience, but don’t miss out the opportunity to try the “Avant-garde Performances”, for this is the contemporary new forces.
